When doing some research on this program called C-Cleaner I wondered, does this program really work? If it is a free program should I expect less? With the many choices on the net, why is this a better choice? I had to find the answers to my questions. The first bit of information I found was this was a relatively small program to download, only 2.8 megabytes. A change for many programs that come with lots of unneeded extras, that just take up extra space. While looking at this program I found it very easy to read, because of the large font, and easy to understand because of the simple everyday wording. It seemed to me that this program was designed for the non-technical user. I found the "Registry" menu, which listed 15 common areas where possible problems may be within my Registry. I had the option to choose any of these and explore it further, but rather than skip around a guess where the problem may lye, I choose to explore all areas. I was amazed on how quickly this task was executed. When moving on from the scanning to the cleaning part of the program, I found that this step took even less time. Here you could choose which folders and files you wanted to keep or delete, that contained errors. Also which cookies should be kept or deleted. While doing this, the program would tell me which of the areas were in critical condition, and may have held embedded keys. This helped me make a safer decision on whether to delete of not. With all the information given to you and where it comes from, you might think it could be very technical, difficult, and confusing, but they have really tailored this program to the common computer user. Everything is simple, and so easy to use. You will teach yourself quickly on what is the best way to do things. In the end, after I had done all my repairs, I had found that my computers speed had actually increased by a noticeable amount. Just by cleaning up my Registry. I was not disappointed by this program, and decided that not all freeware programs are bad. You really need to do some research and try them yourself to know how they will measure up.
