Growing up I never had a gaming console to play with. My parents didn't bother getting me or my siblings one when we had a perfectly good computer to occupy our time when we were too tired of playing with the millions of toys that we owned. I think it was more for the fact that they didn't want us to dry our brains out. In order to get our video game fun we used the computer and since then I have been attached to it like glue. I know how to do many things with it that not even most people would think about. Of course that knowledge only helps when I am using Microsoft computers with their programs. I know that you are thinking that I am a gluten for punishment - but let's be honest and admit that not everything Microsoft makes and touches is bad. Sure there are always bugs they have to get rid of and kinks to smooth down - but in the end they make great programs that millions of people use. However, there is one program that many people are tired of using - Windows Vista. Ever since its conception consumers have been complaining about the problems that it has. This and the fact that Microsoft has never gotten around to truly working out these problems is enough to throw some people over the edge and into a complete frenzy. Especially when their computer is their livelihood. Right now I have a computer that uses Windows Vista and have not had any problems - but it took me awhile to warm up to it. Last year I bought a brand new desktop. The first brand new computer and desktop in 4 years. I was proud of this computer (that I assembled myself) and couldn't wait to get it started. Naturally this new computer had Vista programmed right into it and there was nothing I could do about it. At first it impressed me. The graphics were amazing and the layout was smooth. The first negative I spotted was the nagging! It's one thing to have your partner nagging at you all day to pick up after yourself or not too forget to take out the garbage. But for your computer to nag as well? That's just downright annoying and unheard of. It seemed that every move I made was analyzed by the program and had to make sure that I really wanted to go through with it. This is a protection measure that Microsoft thought people would love. It turned out to be one of the things that people hated most about it. Other problems existed in the specially designed driver that Microsoft thought would work well with the operating system. But this became another problem for millions of users. That and the applications were not all able to work the way they should. Not one week after buying the new computer it crashed and I quickly returned it to get my money back. Now I am not saying that Vista crashed it. It is possible that the computer (Hewlett Packard) was a model that was not built properly or maybe it just couldn't take touting an operating system that couldn't handle new things. It is true that some things about Vista have been fixed - but there are still Vista problems that people have. Yet, that doesn't always stop them from buying it. In fact I think over time Vista has become more popular. I suppose we all love a little trouble and danger. Many people are still having Microsoft Windows Vista Problems and are waiting patiently for something to replace it. But perhaps for now you should find another Microsoft Windows application that could improve the situation.
